BIM Modeler - HVAC Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeler with expertise in HVAC systems to join our team in Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) models, ensuring the accuracy and quality of HVAC designs, and collaborating with project teams to deliver efficient and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage 3D BIM models for HVAC systems using Revit or other BIM software.
- Coordinate HVAC designs with other building services like electrical and plumbing systems.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of HVAC designs into overall project models.
- Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts in coordination with other disciplines.
- Review and update models to reflect design changes and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Generate detailed drawings, BOQs, and schedules from BIM models for construction and documentation purposes.
- Ensure adherence to BIM standards, guidelines, and company protocols.
Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Design, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC design and BIM modeling in the construction or MEP industry.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, and piping design principles.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, ISHRAE, and local building codes.
- Experience in clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or similar tools.
- Familiarity with energy-efficient HVAC designs and sustainability standards.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in BIM, Revit, or HVAC systems.

- Familiarity with Dynamo for Revit scripting and automation.
