BIM Modeler - Electrical Specialist
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled BIM Modeler specializing in electrical systems to join our dynamic team in Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate will develop and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for electrical designs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless coordination with other disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage 3D BIM models for electrical systems using Revit or other BIM software.
- Coordinate electrical designs with HVAC, plumbing, and architectural systems.
- Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts across disciplines.
- Prepare detailed drawings, BOQs, and schedules from BIM models for project documentation and execution.
- Update models to reflect design changes and ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
- Ensure adherence to company protocols, BIM standards, and industry guidelines.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions for electrical systems.
Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in electrical design and BIM modeling in the construction or MEP industry.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and low voltage systems.
- Understanding of industry standards like NEC, IEC, and local electrical codes.
- Experience in clash detection and interdisciplinary coordination using Navisworks or similar tools.
- Familiarity with energy-efficient designs and sustainability standards.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in BIM, Revit, or electrical design.
- Experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial projects.

- Familiarity with Dynamo for Revit scripting and automation.
