BIM Architect
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, tools, and technologies to develop and manage digital representations of construction projects. This role requires collaboration with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage BIM models for architectural projects using software like Revit, AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural and MEP engineers, to ensure seamless integration of models.
- Create detailed 3D models and ensure their alignment with project requirements and standards.
- Analyze and resolve clashes and inconsistencies in BIM models.
- Ensure compliance with BIM execution plans, standards, and protocols.
- Conduct quality checks on models to maintain accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and present visualizations and reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Proven experience as a BIM Architect or similar role in the construction or architecture industry.
- Familiarity with BIM Level 2 and ISO 19650 standards is a plus.
- Familiar with Middle east Codes.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Enscape and other BIM Tools.
- Knowledge of clash detection tools like Navisworks Manage or BIM 360.
- Understanding of construction processes and project workflows.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Problem-solving abilities to address modeling challenges effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BIM certification or training from a recognized institution.
- Familiarity with rendering software such as Enscape, D5 Render, Twin Motion or Lumion.
