Job Summary
Technovalence Engineering Consultant Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled BIM Modeler – Mechanical Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing precise, high-quality mechanical models for complex projects, ensuring seamless integration across disciplines. This role requires expertise in mechanical systems, proficiency in BIM software, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed mechanical models using industry-leading BIM software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure model accuracy and seamless project execution.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and project specifications.
- Identify process optimization opportunities and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and model accuracy.
- Provide mentorship and technical support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a BIM Modeler – Mechanical Specialist role or a similar position within the AEC industry.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD for mechanical modeling.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems in a BIM environment.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards, including ASHRAE, IPC, and other relevant mechanical design regulations.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on large-scale mechanical projects in a BIM environment.
- BIM software certification (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks).
- Professional affiliations with industry bodies such as ASHRAE or ASME.
