BIM Engineer - Architecture Specialist
Job Summary
Technovalence is seeking an experienced BIM Engineer specializing in Architecture to join our team in Navi Mumbai. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative Building Information Modeling (BIM) solutions for architectural projects, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement BIM models that exceed our clients’ expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create intricate BIM models for architectural projects, encompassing building structures, facades, and interior designs
- Collaborate with architects and designers to integrate architectural designs into the comprehensive BIM project model
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of architectural models and associated documentation
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts related to architectural elements
- Generate construction documents and support the creation of as-built documentation
- Collaborate with project teams to meet project deliverables and deadlines
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in BIM technology and methodologies related to architectural design
Qualifications and Experience:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM engineering, with a focus on architectural design and modeling
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, Graphisoft ArchiCAD, and Trimble Navisworks.
- Experience with cloud-based collaboration platforms, such as Autodesk BIM 360, Graphisoft BIMcloud, and Trimble Connect.
- Knowledge of data management and analysis tools, such as Autodesk Dynamo, Graphisoft Grasshopper, and Trimble Quantm.
- Familiarity with virtual and augmented reality tools, such as Autodesk Live, Graphisoft ArchiCAD 23, and Trimble Connect for HoloLens.
- Understanding of building information modeling standards, such as ISO 19650 and PAS 1192
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality control.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on large-scale architectural projects
- Certification in BIM or architectural design
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Rhino
