BIM Modeler - Structural Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a proficient BIM Modeler with expertise in structural systems to join our team in Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for structural designs, ensuring precision, compliance, and seamless coordination with other disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage 3D BIM models for structural systems using Revit or other BIM software.
- Coordinate structural designs with architectural, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts with other disciplines.
- Prepare detailed drawings, BOQs, and schedules from BIM models for construction and documentation purposes.
- Ensure models comply with project requirements, industry standards, and company protocols.
- Update models to reflect design modifications and ensure accuracy throughout project phases.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver efficient and innovative structural solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in structural design and BIM modeling in the construction industry.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of structural systems, including concrete, steel, and composite structures.
- Knowledge of structural design principles, load calculations, and analysis.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards, such as IS, ACI, or Eurocodes.
- Experience in clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or similar tools.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in BIM, Revit, or structural design.
